OUR MISSION

The Junior Service League of Woodstock is an organization of women committed to improving our community through volunteerism and fund-raising. Our purpose is to serve Cherokee County families by making a positive impact on their lives and their futures. Working together, we can “Make A Difference”. 


HISTORY OF THE LEAGUE

The Junior Service League of Woodstock was established in 1990. The League reaches out to women of all ages, races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism. It is a non-profit organization that strives to improve the lives of Cherokee County residents by making a positive impact on their families and the betterment of their futures. Since its founding, the JSL of Woodstock has been fortunate enough to have hundreds of compassionate women dedicated to serving their community and making Cherokee County a better place to live.

MEETING INFO

General meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month year round. The meetings start at 7:00pm with the first 30 minutes reserved for social interaction and the formal meeting beginning at 7:30pm. Meetings last from 1½ to 2 hours (including the social portion).

Everyone is required to sign-in at the meetings. The sign-in table is at the entrance of the meeting room. The Specials Projects Volunteer sign-in sheets are located there as well as temporary name tags for provisional members and guests. The agenda for the evening’s meeting and other important information will also be available at the sign-in table.
