Welcome to the Junior Service League of Woodstock!
The Junior Service League of Woodstock is an organization of women committed to improving our community through volunteerism and fund-raising. Our purpose is to serve Cherokee County families by making a positive impact on their lives and their future. The Junior Service League of Woodstock was established in 1990 and is a non-profit organization. The League reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism.

The league’s first tennis tournament was a success! We had 22 ladies participate in the event and it was beautiful tennis weather.
The league was able to net around $250 for Give a Kid a Chance.
A big thanks to everyone that came out!
Due to last weekends nasty weather, the tennis tournament has been rescheduled for this coming Sunday, May 26th!!
You can register the day of the event beginning at 11am, play starts at noon.
Event proceeds will support Give a Kid a Chance – Cherokee, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Cost of participation: $15 separately/ $30 double's pair
Don’t forget to sign up for the Junior Service League’s First Annual Charity Tennis Tournament on May 19, 2013. The event will begin at 12:00pm with registration starting at 11:00am and will held in the Towne Lake Hills East Neighborhood in Woodstock, Georgia. Trophies will be awarded. All participants will receive drinks/lunch and will be eligible to receive prizes in the raffle following the event.

The Give a Child a Mulligan Golf Tournament was this past Friday. It was a huge success. We had beautiful weather, 66 golfers and raised $7,000!!! The league wants to thank the community, local businesses, golfers, The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm and sponsors for their continual support.

My Community Monthly was the winning foursome with a total score of 54! A huge congratulation is in order for Brian Meek, Kyrus Frams, Matt Veazey, and Tom Ahern.

Next general meeting is Tuesday, February 26 at the Tuscany Italian Restaurant near the GTC Cherokee 16 Cinemas. Social time is 7:00pm-7:30pm. Light appiziters & desserts will be provided by the league. Drinks can be purchased individually. Meeting is from 7:30-8:30pm.
