Welcome to the Junior Service League of Woodstock!
The Junior Service League of Woodstock is an organization of women committed to improving our community through volunteerism and fund-raising. Our purpose is to serve Cherokee County families by making a positive impact on their lives and their future. The Junior Service League of Woodstock was established in 1990 and is a non-profit organization. The League reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism.

The 5th Annual Give a Child a Mulligan Golf Tournament raised $4,300!! We’d like to thank everyone that participated in the tournament and silent auction. It was a HUGE success this year.

The league donated water to the Special Olympics, along with, toothpaste & toothbrushes to the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch Easter baskets.

It is time to get our shoes delivered! Please look at the dates below and see if you can volunteer. Your help is VERY much appreciated. We can't get this done without you!! Also remember we need all shoes by March 20th(@ the general meeting) or make plans to get them to Corrie or Laura.

We are currently looking for people to adopt a shoe (child)! JSL is sponsoring 94 children this year, these children attend Oak Grove, Johnston and Arnold Mill Elementary. If you would like to purchase a pair of shoes, please e-mail Corrie @ corrie.jamison@gmail.com or Laura @ lauracspeights@gmail.com. They will provide you with a size & gender. Shoes are to be store brand sneaker. Payless & Walmart are great places to purchases these shoes.

The 2011 JSL Holiday Tour of Homes is just around the corner! We're so excited to share the beautiful homes our designers have decorated. The tour will be open Saturday, November 12 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 13 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. We will also have a Candle Light tour for select homes on Saturday, November 12 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. You have until Thursday, November 10 to purchase your tickets online for a discounted price of $17 (see previous post for paypal link). All tickets purchased online must be picked up at The Smith Home. Tickets can also be purchased in Downtown Woodstock at Christine's Creations, Pennybag Emporium, Fox Tales Bookstore or Linden; in Towne Lake at BP or Ribley Chiropractic; and in Canton at Allessandro's Pizza or Bridgemill Tennis Club. Tickets will be available during tour hours at the door of any home for $20. Tickets must be purchased for any person over the age of 2. Below are the addresses of each home.
